In tango, as in life, you never forget your first time.
From 29 October to 1 November 2026, Kastel fortress in Banja Luka hosts the city’s first international tango festival, putting Banja Luka on Europe’s dance map. Four milongas, four days, dancers from across the region and Europe, and a bandoneón echoing through centuries-old stone.

✦ Two evening and two afternoon milongas in the Stone House of Kastel fortress ✦ A pre-party on Thursday and an after-party on Sunday ✦ Teaching couples Noelia Hurtado & Sebastian Fernandez and Vlasta Veselko & Relja Dereta ✦ DJs from Belgrade, Banja Luka and Zagreb ✦ Workshops at the Youth Centre, five minutes from the fortress
