In Dragoraj near Ribnik, on land the Sladojević family has farmed since 2013, food is made the only way that really makes sense: from grain they sow themselves, fields they harvest themselves and milk from cows they raise themselves, all the way to the finished product they pack by hand and deliver straight to your door. No middlemen. No unnecessary ingredients. No complicated logistics.

This is not a marketing story; it is the only way the Sladojević farm knows how to work.

Flour that starts in the field and ends in your kitchen

Buckwheat, spelt, millet, maize, wheat, barley, rye and oats: a range of wholegrain flours that covers almost every need of a modern kitchen, and every step of their making can be documented, because every step happens on the same family field.

Buckwheat flour deserves special attention: rich in fibre, protein and essential minerals, gluten-free and without a single additive that has no business in your body. The full, nutty taste that makes a home-cooked dish recognisable does not come from a lab; it comes from the way the grain is grown and milled. Available in 1 kg and 5 kg packs.

Cheeses with character and an address

Plain cow’s cheese. Cheese with herbs. Cheese in olive oil. Cheese for pies. Cheese spread. Each made with milk from cows whose names the family knew and whose rhythm they knew by heart. That is not a metaphor for authenticity; it describes daily life on the farm in Dragoraj.

The “Four Seasons” cheese is special for a reason you grasp straight away: four different seasonings in one wheel of about a kilogram, for anyone who cannot decide or simply likes more than one flavour. A solution for the undecided and a perfect gift that tells a story.

Delivery that comes to you

The Sladojević farm runs a delivery service that needs no expedition: Ribnik every day, Banja Luka every Wednesday and Mrkonjić Grad every Friday. The minimum order for free delivery is 15 KM, which is easy to reach once you see the prices a family farm can offer.

Why this is a Taste & Rate story

Food tourism lives on stories like this: a local producer who knows every centimetre of their field, who puts in the pack only what they know is good, and who sets the price by honest work rather than market tricks. When visitors ask “where can I buy real homemade cheese or flour around here”, the Sladojević farm is an answer that does not disappoint.

Every kilogram you buy from this family invests directly in the model the region needs more of: local, transparent, family food production without middlemen and without secret ingredients.
